The opening scene shocks and occasional gore or sex scene make movie watchable.
Some lines are witty, for instance how nun parry a comment of keeping a mirror in her room. The exorcist priest, his blonde Estonian partner and hunt-loving cardinal are very sympathetic figures. Most likable are the tattoos and slick dream sequences. Estonian forest is picturesque. The story is a somewhat bland but not without occasional witty remark or tense dialogue. So enjoy you cheap thrill ride.
Not sure why Kyiv is in Russia. While a few years ago few would know where it is at all, today everybody knows that Kyiv is in Ukraine. Well, perhaps, an artistic vision or alternative reality where Russia won it's war against Ukraine. Or just some twisted way to travel from Russia to Estonia to confuse evil Vox Dei cultist
