A Decent Amount of Ohana
16 September 2023
Normally for movies like these, we would get straight-to-video Disney sequels that we didn't ask for end up terrible. But honestly, this one is really not that bad. Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch is an okay sequel that has a decent amount of ohana. On one hand, it can be a bit of a mess with some unnecessary plot lines with Jumba and Pleakly, a lack of consistent for some scenes, and comedy that can be a hit and miss. On other hand, it does try with some good animation, an engaging hula contest plot line that comes with a heartfelt idea, nice voice acting, and some heart that keeps up the charm from the predecessor. I won't say it's a must watch, but I think fans of Lilo and Stitch may enjoy this as much. Maybe even some may watch this for a nostalgia trip, like I did. It may not be as great as the original, but it was a fair ohana for the franchise.
