Warning: Spoilers
I thought The Silent Twins was an excellent portrayal of the two sisters because it incorporated their own diaries and creative writing in the re-imagining of their lives. I see that people seem to be upset that it's not exactly like Marjorie Wallace's book, but I think the point here was to combine that biography with a more intimate capturing of the young women's own written thoughts and art.

The Silent Twins is mesmerizing, beautiful but also disturbing. There's an air of mystery around how the twins trapped and tormented one another, despite a seemingly obsessive connection and sense of not being able to function without the other.

Jennifer's death is one of the most spectacularly strange facts of their lives, as the twins agreed that if one of them died that the other would be "free"...as has apparently been the case with the sole surviving June. Jennifer's body had no traces of drugs or poison, ruling out an intentional suicide.
