Till Death do Us Part
11 August 2023
Librarian/detective Aurora Teagarden (Candace Cameron Bure) finds herself at the altar with psychology prof/detective Nick Miller (Niall Matter). The lovebirds manage to tie the knot but not before nearly postponing their wedding to solve a decades-old murder. The discovery of a skull in the concrete floor of a warehouse doesn't raise much concern at first, leaving the couple time to finalize details of their nuptials just days away. Flower and photography arrangements take a backseat though when Ro recognizes a mock-up drawing of the victim.

The deceased is Sam Woods, a man in his thirties bludgeoned to death over twenty years ago. Everyone assumed that the New York-born financial planner had gotten bored with small town life and headed back to the city. That he was in little Lawrenceton this whole time comes as a shock, especially to his former coworker and poker buddy, Charles (Andrew Airlie), who happens to be Ro's dad. Now the father of the bride finds himself at the center of the investigation, and when Charles and his friends, all acquaintances of Sam in one way or another, close ranks, even Ro can't be sure that her dad is completely innocent.

Aurora has more reason to solve the case. It's not mere inquisitiveness, and that make this entry interesting. The wedding plans, however, do take over the mystery angle, but it's still a better than average one.
