Aren't you tired of insighting pity?

I watched "Enslaved" with S. L. Jackson hoping that it would be a story of victory from a dark past. However it seems to be an aptly entitled story designed to keep the hearts and minds of the people of color "Enslaved" as perpetual victims.

And before you start with the usual name-calling in order to bully me into silence, let me tell you that I am Hispanic and we have our own stories of slavery, abuse and predjudice. But most of my fellow Hispanics don't care to be viewed as victims but instead we rejoice as overcomers and even better, as victors!

I ESPECIALLY DISAGREED with the "experts" portrayal of Dido Elizabeth Belle in the portrait alongside her cousin. Yes, her cousin! Dido was the daughter of the English gentleman, Sir John Lindsey. He was an English Navel Officer who claimed her as his daughter when her mother passed away. He brought her to England as his heir to be raised with his uncle, William Murray, 1st Earl of Mansfield, as Sir John was away a lot with his duties in the Navy. Dido was raised with her second cousin Elizabeth Murray, both as English gentlewomen and both provided for in the Earls will.

In this series "Enslaved, they said that Dido was a slave because she held a basket of fruit in the portrait. As usual, just like our current "schools of higher learning", they want people of color to believe that all white people hate all people of color and all people of color are always victims in all situations; which is an absolute lie!

I would rather not believe what people decidetell me. I always do my own research on issues so I can come to the TRUTH.

If I can find the truth about the issues of life, then I can enjoy a free life!
