The linguistic dystopia was just too much. It made the series unwatchable. Pretty much all the "Italians" spoke German, and when the Germans spoke in their native language, the "Italians" were able to understand them completely. This ruined the reality factor in the series. It would not have been too difficult to have the Italians actually speaking Italian and use appropriate selection of subtitles to communicate. Other productions have done this, but this must be a very low budget offering, that is borne out by the fact that it is streaming on "Walter Presents", and site that picks up second rate or failed series and movies in Europe. Given the lack of reality, it was difficult to watch.
