Adam is still going strong in all facets of his career and actually getting a bit of long deserved recognition of late (Mark Twain Award). His comedy is universally loved even in the most basic of regurgitated Hollywood plots. This is another case of that. This builds more on the action side of the couple's escapades but delivers in the standard laughs ten fold. Anniston proves once again she is a terrific match for an on screen love interest for Sandler. Their chemistry is never missing a beat. The story becomes just a backdrop for their antics to shine. While some of the forced modern rhetoric is grating at times, the film is a solid comedy. Know what you're getting and it's a fun time.
