Little Demon (2022)
9/10
Entertaining, fun, and occasionally heartwarming

A decently funny ADULT cartoon with a fun art style and likeable characters.

Despite the nasty reviews from religious groups, Little Demon is an imaginative and entertaining cartoon, and one of the few that doesn't reduce its female characters to punching bags or stereotypes.

Our main Character, 13 year old Chrissy, is confident and witty. Her tomboy style and mischievous personality make her instantly loveable, despite the fact that she's the Anti-Christ. She is played by Lucy Devito.

Chrissy's parents are Laura (Aubrey Plaza) and Satan (Danny Devito) who are quickly revealed to be polar opposites. Laura is strict and blunt, often getting into arguments with her daughter. Where Satan is laidback and fun, taking Chrissy with him on dangerous adventures and teaching her more about her powers. We also have Bennigan and Darlene, Chrissy and Laura's friends (respectively) who seem like comic relief at first, until they're both shown to be fairly well rounded and interesting.

There's also a colourful cast of otherworldly creatures and animals, keeping the audience captivated with artistic scenes and heartfelt moments.

Despite being a little "out there" Little Demon is a brilliant show with interesting storylines and decent humour. Voice acting is top notch, and the art style is fantastic. I'm excited to see where this goes in the future!
