The change in Austrias filmmaking. When the Republik of Austria received back the souveranity in 1955, the people had suffered, survived and build up infrastructure again. The 'Heimatfilm, shot in the villages far away from all war-action, changed face in the seventies, but showed the 'bad faces' too, not just the smiling. And a lot of the Bad Moments leaded into war, ist mentioned at Alpensaga. IT IS controversial, sometimes hurting and has the potential to create a Movie-Festival, because in Austria and the States of former Republik of yugoslavia are controversial directions necessary to be discussed, if the freedom in europe should continue.
