This is a bit of a sendup of TV thrillers/murder mysteries/soap operas. It's a mistake to expect it to be plausible. Just relax and enjoy it and be prepared for some extraordinary twists (some totally absurd). It made me laugh out loud several times because of its convolutions. Generally I say I don't like a series if none of the characters is appealing, and they don't have much to commend them in truth, but in this story it really didn't matter. It reminded me of the much more serious and satisfying French film Tell No One with François Cluzot, and if you know that film you'll guess what I'm getting at, so perhaps I'd better shut up right now and say Yes to containing spoilers. But I wasn't that obvious, was I?
