Let be me short and to the point.
I agree on some of the things that the killer unknown as "Danny" says about his love of the movies and how the movies should be seen.
Etc.
I agree because I have felt them so many times. I do watch the ending credits in the theatre instead of going out. I try to "feel" the movie from the start, but as the movie tries "hard" on me to make me bored, I stop my trials to enjoy it.
This one looked and felt the same. So many, so many weak points.
I thought, Sunny Deol was returned! He had new looks and returned with the original style etc. 20 minutes of the starting looked fine and grasping.
Sunny Deol is an inspector started thinking seriously and critically, noticed the small evidence which could lead to the murderer (which was unknown at that time) and that all looked great!
But then the movie falls into a poorly written, long love trap. Hell!
Again and again, this Danny and the girl meets, kisses and man! Are we watching chup?
Their mating scenes made the flow of the movie toooo slow. (yes 3 extra Os).
Arre, killer agar killer hai to uska reason bhi proper do na! In the last some of his family moments are shown, and then a poor angle of Guru Datta was presented and ... why says he is a psycho? Yes, Bollywood style psycho indeed.
We are not convinced that this person has killed these people this brutally, just because of these critical reviews. No reason to believe this. If you have watched GUPT then the end was satisfying that Kajol can kill people. But here, no reason. Felt like the makers wanted to show "their ability" to show brutal killing and blood like Hollywood, and so to do that they wanted a story. So, the reverse.
WTF Sunny Deol was doing? He lost all of my hopes in him. I thought he would road "CHUPP!" in his style, but he NEVER did. In a single scene! In the movie only one time Danny shouts CHUP to the girl, that's it.
They have completely missed the opportunity of the name CHUP. After the interval, Pooja Bhatt (the most disappointing character) enters. Sunny deol, who was the "serious" type and fast-thinking character, was shying in front of her! No continuity in the character development! In the last scene, Sunny jumps from the 5th floor and breaks his legs... what? I mean, what?
Some of the good things:
70% of the movie is about Danny's love and 29% is about Sunny Deol's investigation. 1% of the space Amitabh Bachchan takes (with his boring speech)
Overall.
A FILM WITH A HIGHLY MISSED OPPORTUNITY WITH A WEAK CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND PLOT.

Some of the good things:
- Clear scenes of cuts, and blood were sown which are not of this quality in Bollywood
- Many real-life things like reviewers (like me) write long reviews and suggest the movie be short
- The background theme tone (tudutudu tu) was amazing. Could have been used much better by some other director.
- Cinematography looked great in the first 30-40 minutes but after that, just the poor night scenes and old Bollywood-style stuff
