The storyline was interesting enough to keep me engaged and there was enough action to keep it from getting boring, but it had visual problems. The film relies much too heavily on camera blur, lens flare, and shaky camera effects. Also, scenes inside the ship always seem to show the air to be a bit foggy. That was very distracting. I almost stopped watching part way through, but stuck with it because it's Star Trek! Also, since it's a fan film those camera effects may have been needed to make up for set problems or inadequate special effects. All in all, it's worth watching at least once if you're a Star Trek fan, but I doubt many people will watch it repeatedly.
