The phrase 6 Below means lower than; beneath. Also can mean under heaven as in hell. The reviews here run the gambit yet most seem disappointed they weren't treated to a gripping adventure full of suspense. Some go on and on about the director, the actor, and how the story could have been more engaging. But this is actually a film about a mother's love and her sons struggle to appreciate his life. It's a story about faith. The film intentionally shows only a snapshot of the ordeal he endured in order to focus on the main subject, which is that God gave him this trial to save his soul and make him a witness to teach others. Acting is decent, scenery is spectacular, I was balling my eyes out. Very touching.
