I found this disappointing overall, especially after reading the book. Birdies character I found really annoying. All the characters seem very immature to the point of them not feeling believable or very likeable. There just wasn't as much depth to the story as there was in the book, so it didn't capture my attention. The last episode I did enjoy more (second half of it) as I felt that it was a bit more interesting. Maybe this means a second series would be better.
