THE HAZING (aka: DEAD SCARED) concerns a combined college frat / sorority hazing of a group of pledges. It's basiocally a scavenger hunt in which said newbies must collect various items: A movie theater seat, a Frizbee, a mannequin, oh yeah, and a book of pure eeevil!
The aforementioned tome is in the possession of a certain Professor Kapps (the magnificent Brad Dourif), who has been using it in his bid for immortality, ultimate power, and world domination. Once the abysmal book is absconded with by our group of rubes, the real fun begins!
Everyone must now spend the night in a notorious haunted mansion. Many will not see the sunrise.
The rest is a well-done combination of NIGHT OF THE DEMONS and HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, with loads of blood, nudity, and humor thrown in. Tiffany Shepis and Nectar Rose play the standout characters. Indeed, their clothes do fly off, but they're actually quite good in their roles. Even while dressed! Besides, how can you go wrong with Ms. Rose in a bunny costume and Ms. Shepis sporting a skin-tight, silver bodysuit?!
