I can't stop thinking about this movie
18 April 2022
Wow. Where to begin?

I have been following the progress of this movie over the 4 years that it was being made. I'll be honest, I did build up a lot of hopes and expectations about it, especially since it was always hailed as being a "sangat-made" movie.

And I'm VERY happy to say that the movie went far beyond my expectations! I really had no idea what to imagine when I walked into the cinema, but I was completely in LOVE by the time I walked out.

The emotional songs which brought tears to my eyes, the vibrant dialogues which made me feel proud to be Sikh, the atmospheric music which picked me up and carried me through the movie, the AWESOME animation quality which is easily the best I've ever seen in any Sikh movie (and I've seen ALL the Sikh movies many times!)

Sure, the movie isn't perfect. It has a few technical errors and some historical ambiguities. But honestly speaking? I'm fine with that. If I wanted to focus on the negatives in life, I'd be living in a state of chronic depression. But a Sikh is supposed to be CHARDIKALA. We're supposed to be optimistic and focus on the good things.

We should lift each other up, not bring each other down. I'm so GRATEFUL to Waheguru Ji for making a new Sikh animation - and one that has so much heart and soul. I'm always happy to support any project in the Panth which has pure intentions. And trust me, these people have tried SO HARD... Their efforts alone deserve all the shabashiyan.

Well done to all the sewadaars and sangat for making a brilliant and timeless project which will go down in history as a classic. Proud of you all.
