Who better to play someone as larger than life as Muhammed Ali than Muhammed Ali. And The Greatest delivers, the man that is not the movie. Unsurprisingly, the flair and charm that made Ali so popular translates to the screen and he's a decent actor(even if it isn't the most challenging role).
However, the rest of The Greatest is very much of a second rate, made for television kind of movie. Doing nothing more than serving as a banal checklist of his life up to that point.
