On the positive side, the cast is well selected. I can't put any blame on that. The cinematographer/director has some strange love for demise and misery of animals in the movie with unclear purpose. Perhaps some stance saying that we are all animals/monsters. The police work in the movie is sloppy at best. Nothing like in one of the movies this movie tried to copy - "The silence of the lambs". The climax of the movie can be anticipated well ahead.
