TAKEAWAY: Black Folks Are Very Different Than Whites
1 December 2021
Calling Suge (or anyone including me) a racist would be too simple. The opening ten (10) minutes told me everything. Marion Khight's own mother admits to grooming the whole family to steal. This included Suge's father. Antwun Fuqua accepted this with a wink and a nod. Blacks understand this universally. Usually the colloquial word "hustle" is used, but it is stealing all the same. I am impressed by the film's honesty. Suge knew that his audience would be black folks and that they would understand. There is a message here. Suge was convicted of murdering a black man. Fuqua's film is honest and understated. Sometimes you become what you surround yourself by.
