Tom Cruise stuns with what he can do at his age. His desire to please all with his action stunts and skills is unparalleled. A good villain, top class directing, unexpected twists, great soundtrack, and even humor on the side makes this one a must-see! The fact that Tom Cruise broke his ankle and the shot of him getting up onto the building and limping as he walks along is very impressive, plus how all of the chases and fights are filmed. The scene where they're skydiving and Walker gets struck by lightning with no sound at all for a few moments afterwards is so intense. His reveal as John Larke was handled very well as well and that entire scene with the twists and betrayals and Mr. Secretary getting stabbed was flawless. The effort into making this movie and it ending up how it did deserves lots of praise. Did I mention the insane action enough??
