I've watched this movie many times. Once a year it's on tv and somehow I get sucked in cause of Kristen Bell and Better White, but there is nothing redeemable about Joanna. I always think maybe I was wrong? Too hard? But then I re-hate her from the start to the finish. I was pretty sure she was lying the entire time and couldn't understand why we were supposed to feel bad for her. I thought the older brother was a spineless coward. I get it, he was popular and didn't notice how awful people were to his sister, he had his own life. But after finding out the truth you still want to marry this awful human being?! Why?!! I was probably more angry at the brother than Joanna! None of the characters grew, they all stayed exactly the same throughout the movie. Love Kristen bell and Betty white, but they couldn't save this mess.
