10 years after the show, i just happened to find it and was pleasantly surprised. After 3 episodes, i was ready to give the show a 10 star rating. I loved the dynamic between the.characters and the witty writing.
I just hate comedic shows with laugh track, it's like they feel the need to tell the viewer when to laugh, like we aren't smart enough to understand a joke. This show do NOT have a laugh track, it trusts the viewer to understand the jokes. It is a smart show.
Half way in though, i started to see the writing style pattern, which takes a bit of the edge off. Once you catches on the pattern, the show becomes less funny. Sadly. The pattern was that especially Adam tells the guys something bad about his girlfriend Callie, she finds out, he ends up in the doghouse, but in the end they make up. Even if they try to vary the plot from episode to episode, this pattern was obvious.
In the last couple of episodes, the writing gets a bit stale and show is less funny as a result.
But my overall rating i quite high, if you are looking for a fun and smart comedy show to binge watch, watch Traffic Light.
