The episode in general was great. I'm glad they sent Doug out like they did. It was always about the patients best interest in Doug's eyes no matter what. It was sad to see Carol have to stay, but made for a better episode later. The only thing I didnt like about the episode was Jeanie's hep c diagnosis. Her story has already been told. No need come up with another just bc she wants to be the focal point of the show. Never really liked Jeane's character. To passive and lied about her HIV to keep her job. (Budget cuts) Has narcissism written all over it. The mobalage and kubby story was unnecessary also. Already enough drama occurring during this episode. Over did it or I would have gave it probably a 9. So this was the beginning of the end of great acting to subpar in the latter years. I cant even watch episodes after season 6.
