What worked:
As a performer, Neeraj Kabi and Naseeruddin Shah stole the show. It's one of those rare duo moments that we get to enjoy these two very talented performers. It's one of those Naseer's performances that I adored. I must say he is being casted right in Hindi narratives lately. Tisca portrayed her role gracefully and poignantly. As a director, it's a very commendable job and deserves a huge appreciation for the movie. The screenplay is very well written, beautifully shot and overall movie viewing experience became remarkable. Since I don't know much about the original I cannot say if it was a well adopted story or not. But as a narrative, it's a very balanced story with fine performances and very few dull moments, making it a watchable movie overall
What did not work: I don't have much complain about the movie but if it was for me, I would have rewritten some of the scenes so that the authenticity is intact. Some minor flaws could have been avoided to enhance the narrative Final verdict: highly recommended
