The writing is good and the voice acting is good but I'm just not a fan AT ALL of the robot designs. I am a G1 fan but these are just wayyy too off the mark. Even them transforming looks shabby. I actually wish Peter Cullen didn't lend his voice for Optimus in this.
I think the worst part is the decepticons. There's nothing unique about most of them since most of their army are clones. You get a few main ones and then hundreds of clones that do most of the work on the show. Just too repetitive.
