I was dubious about this movie but Eddie Marsen drew me in. Hes superb in it, as are his peers. Well crafted and shot, the violence is scary. But this a thriller, not a horror as such.
The story is not original, but it was well written and kept me interested and intrigued after a slow build up. There are mild set ups that fail to pay off later in the story.
The ending was good, but it was lacking a proper conclusion. You didn't hate the guy, because the aggressors were too agenda ridden. The jilted father was a good character with morales. Not enough focus on his dilemma at the end. Overall, woke culture theme that's too forceful to give 100% sympathy to the protagonist (whom ever you decide it is).
