I absolutely adore this show. It didn't queer bait, when it totally could have. It didn't pull back in the ending. And Stanley is such a freaking great character. He was so charismatic that you felt bad his romantic pursuits failed. I knew nothing about this show before I hit play on Netflix and was not expecting the "superhero" angle. I got Carrie and End of the F*cking World vibes from this show. It was extraordinary!
