There are different kinds and flavors of bad. But which one's the worst?
Offensive? Incompetent? Cynical? Manipulative? Gross?
I'd say the worst kind of bad is "DULL".
And that's probably the most fitting word to describe this show - and one of the only fitting words as well.
The setup - where classic monsters, ghouls, ghosts, etc are part of our society and they're having appointments with our lead, a psychiatrist - could be a fun one. Not a terribly original one, but it's not a bad foundation. Everything else about this show is executed on the bare minimum level.
The jokes are lame, unfunny, barely there, but inoffensive,
the character-design is the blandest I've ever seen, but at least it's not gross,
the environments has just enough work put into them, so you can recognize what they're supposed to be,
the voice-work is good, i guess? With scripts this inconsequential, it doesn't matter much.
Storyboard-art and editing is absolute garbage. There are terrible jump-cuts, boring framing, but the errors and spacial problems are just on the brink of making the film confusing. "Fortunately", almost nothing matters in these stories and they're over really fast, so before you start thinking about it too hard, it's already done and gone.
The animation is as cheap as they can possibly get away with. I hope they finished the whole thing in a week - in that case at least they've been efficient.
