After years of only knowing about this film through its reputation, I finally watched this on a DVD that also has the Showtime musical version of this on it. The way it's presented is quite serious for the time it was made. In fact, the only laughs I got out of it was seeing that one insane man laugh maniacally while smoking constantly! And maybe also when that one woman confessed hysterically near the end. It does keep your attention during the little-more-than-an-hour running time. I also dug that "teen" girl dancing quite wildly after taking her "marihuana"! No wonder this is such a cult movie...
