Audrey Rose: Huge dud

Anthony Hopkins stars in this supernatural piece but it's certainly not a notable moment of his career.

It tells the story of a happy couple and their young daughter who come across a man who believes their daughter is the reincarnated spirit of his late daughter. Interesting concept, but it doesn't really go anywhere.

Also starring Marsha "Drop Dead Fred" Mason it's a slow burning tale full of unlikable characters, overacting and a dreadful child actress who thankfully stopped acting in 1995.

At no point did I care about the characters plight or care to know the outcome of the movies great mystery. It's just so un-engaging it's a tribute to my steadfast belief that you have to watch a movie all the way through if you have a right to criticize it.

Audrey Rose is a rare miss for Hopkins and a tiresome bore.

The Good:

Erm....

The Bad:

Susan Swift

Ultimately goes nowhere
