So interesting in parts, often jarring, extremely detailed visuals, all so alluring, but it felt tad far fetched by the time the credits rolled.
I haven't read the original, but this slow-paced vehicle didn't seem to lock down on a speed till the very end. The film hangs tightly onto its visual appeal, and jumps between time with commendable grace. The contemporary setting confuses the viewer in the beginning, then gradually makes you forget the your own world.
The various single-shots supported by gripping music add on to the drama of this piece.
Overall, its certainly worth a watch for a dark-themed Indian film!
