Michael Madsen is this generations' Robert Mitchum. His breakout role in "Reservoir Dogs" (1992) was followed by "The Getaway" (1994), "Wyatt Earp" (1994), "Species" (1995), "Frankie the Fly" (1996), etc. and then the two "Kill Bill" films. He's one of Hollywood's busiest actors and his acting gets better with age.

Here we see him at age 35 shortly after he did "Reservoir Dogs' (1992). This was one of five films he appeared in that year and while he looks young, he was already a veteran of dozens of films and TV shows.

But Madsen along can't save this film, which is far too long and has far too many cardboard characters. It's a cheapo version of "Basic Instinct" the Michael Douglas/Sharon Stone big hit of the same year, and the film is even known as "Fatal Instinct".

If you're a devoted Madsen fan you might want to take a look, but otherwise give it a pass.
