Aping Sasuke is probably a good idea, as they're The Godfather of the TV obstacle course contest, but maybe they should have aped more, or less. The course is itself good, camera work is alright, and the graphical presentation is fantastic.
I have a really big problem the announcers on this show. I love Terry Crews. Love him. I'm sorry to say, I really don't like him as a host. The other host, whom I am unfamiliar with, repeats both the style and sometime even the words of TC. Sadly, both of them are really weak hosts. Most of their commentary is chanting USA, which is obnoxious. They also have frequent trouble pronouncing the names of contestants.
Finally, a major problem that better version of this show is the editing. In one hour, there's little reason not to show the entire run for every competitor. They cut around people so much that you only really see half of the contestants' runs at all.
I think this could be a great show, but it's not there now.
