Is There Room For Another "Modern Family" On Network Television?

I saw the pilot for this show last night, and it's off to a good start. I've seen a few shows like this over the past ten years or so on network television- that follow along the same vein as "Modern Family" where you have multiple story lines going on at one time involving the same extended family, and most of these shows get cancelled in the first season or so. I'm hoping this one will stick around for a little while, but CBS has been known to cancel a network sitcom in only a few episodes, like that short-lived show with Tony Shalhoub last year- can't think of the name of that- with the divorced guys all living in the same apartment complex-?? And this one has a good cast- Colin Hanks, Zoe Lister Jones, Dianne Wiest, James Brolin, etc..- hopefully that crazy dad Brolin will be used a little more in future episodes-??
