The title 'Scrotal Recall' had put me off when I first saw the trailers when it was originally airing on TV, the actual trailer itself looked a bit silly. A year had passed and nobody was really talking about the show and then suddenly I came across it on IMDb and saw the rating of 7.9 so decided to give it a go. I watched all 6 episodes over 2 days (3 each night) it was fun although it wasn't constant laughter for me.
I liked the concept of the show and the way we see characters develop as we go back and forth over different periods of time. Although it is slightly frustrating how we can go back 5 years and EVERY single character still looks and dresses the same as they do in the present day. There was a lot more main characters than I expected; expected it to just be a guy being stupid looking for girls he slept with but the supporting cast all had their own story lines going on and contributed to the main theme of the show very well. My favourite character was Evie, played by Antonia Thomas who I also loved in Misfits.
Although it's not the most hilarious show it's certainly worth your time for the 6 episodes, I'm not exactly left wanting more but the characters provided me with enough laughs to keep me entertained for a few hours.
