first of all, the premise of the show is good.. interesting enough to check it out. you have an immortal who's trying to figure out why he's an immortal, then it goes down hill from there.

we all know that Sherlock Holmes is the greatest detective ever, and even Sherlock wouldn't figure out that a person is American or English because of the shape of his throat for speaking an accent for so long.. I mean, come on! don't be that lazy!

the show summed up is generic homicide investigations with a character that is cross-over between Constantine's side-kick and Sherlock Holmes... they even chose to make the Character English!

I would've been okay with the show if it focused more on the main plot, which is the immortality of Henry Morgan! but no, that's just few minutes every 2-3 episodes!

you have the protagonist, a cop buddy, the main extremely reliable cop that happen to have personal tragedy, a friend to help them when it comes to something outside the box, and generic cases where the main suspect is always innocent. I could've written a better show than this.
