Phineas and Ferb really is quite funny. It has that pointless style of comedy but for some reason it continues to be entertaining. I'm sure there will come a point when this show becomes totally irrelevant but for the moment it's still enjoyable to watch.
The creators have done a really good job at thinking of new ideas for the storyline. Incredibly each episode there is a new invention, a new problem to solve or just another reason to do something fun. Their initiative is very cute.
I'm sure the show will eventually come to an end in the next couple of years (they're bound to start running out of ideas and pointless yet catchy songs) but for the moment the show works. Also no this show is not like SpongeBob, this show has a level of intelligence, SpongeBob on the other hand seems to be created by some low IQ, pot smoking jug heads.
