Just watched the second episode, and things are starting to get dark. Love the image of the church being painted on the inside - reference to whitewash? Many symbolic gestures to foresee the future of where this all might go. First two episodes suck you in to think this will be a touchy cloying theme, but I can't wait to see what's next, I don't think it will be sweet and cute.
I have had enough of police dramas. I get the vampire stories. It's high time for some fresh and original science fiction/fantasy work. Hopefully it will be able to hold its own for quite a few episodes. The way the last episode left me hanging on two huge questions they are guaranteed to get me back - who or what if anything was in the coffin, will I see claw marks? By the looks on their face I will bet it's empty!
