This is The Returned with all of the American twists, as well as taking the scale, and amping it up from a small town in France to the world. If you have not seen The Returned, no worries this should fill that need for most people. The acting is decent, though the entire production has that Middle America green screen feeling, even the opening scenes of China. If they are following the formula of The Returned then we are in for a good climax, and many fantastic reveals. The connection to the special effects in The Dome is undeniable, but they are passable when used. Mostly though this story will be in the touching reunions or frightening ones. I Enjoyed where they have started, and recommend it. The religion is going to be necessary in that part of the world, though they do look to be dancing with that a little already.
Edited March 17 2014: After seeing the second episode I am forced to take a point from my review, and tell you all that this show is not going to work. Really just watch "The Returned" so what if you have to read subtitles it makes this show look like the garbage that it is turning into.
