A strange choice to shoot this film in black and white. This did not detract from the story-line but seems ultimately pointless.
The plot meanders through different life events experienced by Milo and most of the time the journey is enjoyable and sometimes very touching. The plot could have had several different endings and the one I was expecting the most, reuniting with the love of his life would have been satisfactory. The plot revolving around his other family discovered it seems almost by accident, only for me made the final 15 minutes a little drawn out.
The acting was superb and all the characters especially Grace were truly believable.
Overall very watchable.
