With me being 13 this movie was, obviously, aimed for an audience around my age. And let's just say this movie was appalling. Hell, that's an understatement. It was absolutely horrific.
I was quite excited to see this. I didn't expect it to be Oscar material or anything. Oh God no. I just expected a light, entertaining film. I personally liked the original from which this was based and I hoped this was Miley's big shot to break out from her Hannah Montana, childish demographic. But f*ck no. The main character, Lola, almost made Hannah look inspiring! I'd rather watch a Hannah Montana marathon than lay my eyes on the opening credits of this film ever again.
I personally dislike Miley's acting 'career'. (I don't fancy Ashley Greene's either) But I mean, come on! Not even Demi Moore can cover up for her idiocy! Miley's personal music career and her most recent album surprised me and gave me higher hopes.
But nope. Her acting still sucks. She can barely speak English.
So, folks, just remember this-- A pretty face can not aid a weak persona.
