I was really surprised when this show was cancelled. There is some really stellar acting and a very cool storyline... If you like good vs. evil kind of movies/shows than point pleasant wont disappoint. Obviously it is short... So it leaves the audience with kind of a cliffhanger... It is a very serious show... not a lot of room for humour - but it is not overly dark... The story is about the daughter of the devil trying to fit in with normal society. Can she look past her heritage and come out on the right side - or will she be the end of makind as we know it? It really is worth watching despite the fact that it only has 13 episodes... I mean, firefly is just as short and it is one of the top rated shows in the world - so don't let that stop you from buying the show, because it's worth watching.
