This story is real and hits home to all of us and shows us one man who changed because he became responsible for a baby. The flashbacks show us his own treatment by his father, so we can say the motivation was his love for his mother that he was not allowed to give her. It's like a ray of hope in the vast city slum in South Africa. The woman who suckled the baby for him was excellent, as were Tsotsi's buddies. Also the way Tsotsi showed (the actor) his inner demons, his desire for violence not for any purpose just to get it out of himself. The pacing was good, the camera work good as well. I won't say I enjoyed this movie, but I did find satisfaction in understanding the motivations of a troubled young man in a hopeless environment.
