I will not write an essay about this film, because in my opinion there are no words to describe the pleasing softness and silence of "Die Freunde Der Freunde". I myself count the movie as one of the best German productions I know, additionally it contains an extraordinary and mysterious story. Every time I see the film I fall in a certain peaceful mood; this mood makes me feel being a part of the story (somehow). It's strange and scary, but fascinating, too. By the way, it is important to remark that Matthias Schweighöfer is a brilliant actor, just as Jessica Schwarz is a wonderful actress.
