We find in this masterpiece a fidele recreation of the last days of the feudal order in Japan. We see such a realistic story that we will feel the fear of death and the cutting edge of swords tearing flesh. Thought slightly melodramatic sometimes, we dive into the self-destruction and love-caused reconstruction of an assassin who kills for the only thing he can believe in, the happiness of people, being at the same time innerly tormented by all the deaths he has caused.
