Back in 1976 I was 15 years old. When Lukes Kingdom came to Australian television I became a couch potato. (smile). Oliver Tobias stole my homework hours and my heart. A wonderfully old world series depicting everyday life in early times. I remember it to be a wonderful mini series which seemed to reel me in hook, line and sinker. Was it Oliver Tobias's breathtakingly good looks that influenced my bias judgement? This series is similar to the likes of Upstairs Downstairs which I also enjoyed tremendously. I only wish I could buy the series "Lukes Kingdom" in some form. OH the memories of television. Thank you IMDB for bringing them back.
