No cause of death was shared. Her reps did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

This week on CBS’ Magnum P.I., Thomas gets an unexpected blast from the past when Nuzo, his dearly departed Buds bud, is posthumously implicated in a murder.
For Magnum, this represents an opportunity for redemption, seeing as he couldn’t save Nuzo’s life but now can preserve his friend’s honor. Airing tonight at 9/8c, “It’s a very different kind of episode and unlike anything we’ve ever done before,” exec producer Eric Guggenheim previously told TVLine. “We think it’s going to be pretty special, and we’re excited for everyone to see it.”

Kino Lorber, in conjunction with Scorpion Films, has released the offbeat WWII drama "Counterpoint" as a Blu-ray special edition. The film requires a bit of historical context before getting into the main plot. By December 1944, the Third Reich was crumbling rapidly. Allied forces were on the doorstep of Germany itself and victory was assumed to be only a matter of weeks away. However, Adolf Hitler had an ace up his sleeve. On December 16 he unleashed a massive secret reserve of tank forces in a surprise attack on Americans in Belgium. The Yanks were caught completely off guard as Panzers raced toward their goal of recapturing the port city of Antwerp. Hitler knew that if he succeeded in taking possession of this strategic city he could prolong the war indefinitely. Because German forces had to move at a lightning pace before Americans could regroup, they were given grim...

Several atom-fear exposés bravely ‘told the truth’ about the madness of the nuclear standoff. They didn’t get more liberal-precious than this uncompromising, difficult-to-watch ordeal based on a true incident. When an Imminent Attack alarm sends a tiny elementary school into a panic, Frank and Eleanor Perry pull no punches, finding the worst possible outcome to twist one’s insides in helpless frustration. The notorious yet little-seen show stars stage actors then unfamiliar, a couple of whom would soon become much bigger names. For us Children of the Bomb it’s the traumatic connection between Duck and Cover and Miracle Mile — or “Romper Room of Fear.” Richard Harland Smith’s commentary gives this release the context it needs, answering most of the questions that have hovered over it for 57 years.

From the soaps to the Sun: General Hospital actors trade TV roles for music
"They have said, unless it's someone like Bon Jovi or someone gigantic, they've never seen a fan reaction like this, ever. That's what people don't understand about soap fans. I mean, we were in Staten Island, and people were chasing the bus. They're like, 'Is this the Beatles? What the heck is happening here?'"
"In the old days, that's what we would do at malls. They'd put us behind a table and sign 8-by-10s for two hours, and you're done," Burton says. "There was no kind of interaction, no personal contact, there was really nothing. Especially with soap fans, they feel like they're such a part of your life - we're such a part of their life because we're on five days a week, so I just wanted to make it more entertaining."

As many soap opera fans are well aware, As the World Turns has been cancelled after 54 years on CBS. The final scenes of the daytime drama were shot in June and are set to air next Friday, September 17th.

Hays described the end of filming and said, "The last day was poignant, and what was so incredible about it was how we shot pretty much in order that day. As each group finished with a...
