As SAG-AFTRA and the WGA continue to strike and fight for a new deal, the picket lines are remaining full. In fact, they’re so full that multiple series have seen cast and crew reunions while marching.
Some have been spontaneous, as old colleagues run into each other by chance at a given location. Others have been planned, making sure to get as many members out on the lines as possible. So, we rounded up some of the biggest ones, ranging from shows long since ended, to those still fresh in our hearts.
You can check out some of the biggest reunions in the photos below.

Invitation to Murder is a mystery film directed by Stephen Shimek.
Does a story about England, an invitation, different characters and a murder to be solved sound familiar? They’re called whodonit, and the greatest exponent of the genre was the ever-great Agatha Christie.
Here’s a charming film that captures the essence, step by step, without the minimum intent of originality.
Delightful in its evocation of English traditionalism.
And in its consequent repetition, too.
Movie Review
Curiously enough, this is actually a French production in which everything takes us to England, to those stories that, although already a bit worn out by repetition, continue to captivate. A good mystery for a film that, without a doubt, we have already seen.
There is nothing original in a film that is a tribute to the English writer and, in the end, little more than a rather televised episode that may entertain...

Nathan Fillion has appeared in two beloved ABC shows — Castle and The Rookie. Castle aired for eight seasons on the network and ended in 2016. The Rookie premiered in 2018 and is in the middle of airing its fifth season. And Fillion is dedicated to paying homage to his previous show in his new one. Unfortunately, fans shouldn’t anticipate one Castle star to appear in The Rookie.

One of the main reasons Castle was so popular during its heyday was because of the “will they/won’t they” slow-burn relationship between Richard Castle and Kate Beckett, played by Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic.
Of course, everyone also loved the other side characters, especially Jon Huertas’ Javier Esposito and Seamus Dever’s Kevin Ryan.

"You gotta get down into the muck if you wanna find the truth." Lionsgate has revealed the official trailer for another whodunit murder mystery movie called Invitation to a Murder, which is skipping theaters entirely and is debuting on VOD directly in April this spring. Once you get a look at this, you'll understand exactly why. This is some low rent cheap junk, and the cast is especially mediocre, too. Set in the South of England in 1934. For no apparent reason and also like five other unrelated people, Miranda, a 28-year-old florist, is invited for the weekend in the mansion of billionaire Lewis Findley. What's become of their absent host? And who just murdered one of the guests in cold blood? Of course, there's only one way to find out – pay the money to rent and watch this movie. It stars Mischa Barton, Chris Browning, Seamus Dever, Giles Matthey, Grace Lynn Kung,...

The trailer just dropped for Invitation to a Murder and it looks sprightly and, dare I say it, fun. Set in the 1930s, the murder mystery stars Mischa Barton, who, we must remember, was born in London long before she became a teen star on U.S. television (The O.C.). She plays Miranda Green, who is summoned to a remote mansion belonging to a mysterious billionaire, which begs the question, did they have those in the 1930s? Not many, I wager. Surrounded by five strangers, murder most foul occurs, and Miranda must put on her amateur detective hat to solve the case and avoid being killed herself. Chris Browning, Seamus Dever and Bianca Santos also star. Invitation to a Murder will be available April 25 on...

Exclusive: Maxim Swinton (Halston) has joined the cast of Raymond and Ray, writer-director Rodrigo García’s (Four Good Days) film for Apple Studios.
He joins an ensemble that includes Ewan McGregor, Ethan Hawke, Maribel Verdú and Sophie Okonedo, as previously announced.
The film currently in production in Virginia centers on Raymond (McGregor) and Ray (Hawke), half-brothers who have lived in the shadow of a terrible father. There’s anger, there’s pain, there’s folly, there might be love, and there’s definitely grave-digging.

Castle has a new address. Lifetime has set an October 5 premiere date for the latest exclusive syndicated run of the crime dramedy starring Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic.
The series will play at 2 p.m. Tuesdays starting next week and will continue through November. It will go on hiatus when Lifetime begins its annual It’s a Wonderful Lifetime holiday movie event, then will return in January.
Castle, which originally aired on ABC from 2009-16, stars Fillion as famous mystery novelist Richard Castle, who connects with the NYPD when he is enlisted to help solve a series of copycat murders ripped from the pages of his Derek Storm novels. Suffering from writer’s block and realizing that working with the police might give him some new ideas for his next book, Castle finds himself paired with Detective Kate Beckett (Katic). It's July, which means ComicCon, except this is 2020...
So the San Diego convention center is sadly silent.
Thankfully, the creative people behind the spectacle that is ComicCon would not let a virus kill our fun, so they moved it all online. Which left us with one very important question.
Who at this virtual ComicCon event was actually wearing pants?
As Alexi Hawley (Showrunner for The Rookie) said, we're living in an above the waist world.
Pants or no, what would ComicCon be without Nathan Fillion? The man has been attending this event since 2002. That's 18 years!
But this year was different. This year Mr. Fillion played along from his kitchen, along with a mystery pooch and a 1980's style mustache.
Did anyone else want to run up and try to rip that thing off his lip?
Good thing for Fillion that this was a virtual get-together.
We should all be grateful...

Nathan Fillion has been a mainstay at Comic-Con and other cons for years. In fact, during a Comic-Con@Home panel dedicated to the actor and moderated by The Rookie showrunner Alexi Hawley, a mustachioed Fillion recalls his first Comic-Con being in 2002 when he was a guest of Joss Whedon’s after he first signed on to do the cult Western sci-fi series Firefly.
As one of the last panels of the first virtual iteration of the fanboy/fangirl confab came, “A Conversation with Nathan Fillion” was a retrospective on Fillion as he reflected on his career — with a lot of talk about Firefly, Castle, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog and, of course, The Rookie.
From the comfort of his own kitchen and with his cute doggie, Hawley kicked things off with one of Fillion’s most popular movies: Waitress. After doing a deep dive on the quirky comedy, the two waxed poetic on The Rookie.

This year’s virtual Comic-Con@Home has announced its schedule for Sunday, July 26. The highlights are below.
The virtual event replaces the annual San Diego Comic-Con, the largest fan convention in North America, which was to be held July 22–26 at the San Diego Convention Center, until the Covid-19 pandemic forced its cancellation.
In June, Comic-Con International — the non-profit organization that oversees Sdcc and its sister event, WonderCon in Anaheim, Calif. — announced it was moving forward with the virtual event on the same dates. This time, however, the event is free and open to all.
Sunday’s events include a “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” anniversary panel, a “Next” panel, a “Wakanda Forever!” panel about the psychology of “Black Panther” and a conversation about the making of the animated series “Hoops.”
The full Comic-Con@Home schedule — including Wednesday, July 22, Thursday, July 23, Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25 — was announced daily through the week.

Castle was a huge fan favorite, but by the time the show reached season 8, it seemed no one was happy.
There were rumors of infighting behind the scenes, which led to fewer and fewer scenes filmed between the two leads.
Then Castle’s lead and supporting actresses (Stana Katic and Tamala Jones) were shockingly fired weeks before Castle Season 8 ended!
Fans were outraged, so much so that they began sending coffee sleeves to ABC with messages such as #SaveCaskett and #CancelCastle. Coffee was a symbol of love and affection between the two characters throughout the series.
The show’s fans wanted the series canceled rather than have it go on without their favorite couple.
What other show has had its diehard shippers root for its demise rather than see the series-long love story end and its main couple left to bleed out on the floor?
The fans got their wish.

With The Rookie Season 2, the series showcased why it's one of the most entertaining cop dramas on TV.
The season hit the ground running and never looked back as one fan-favorite left, and three new characters got introduced.
On the professional front, the Lapd team dealt with a terrorist plot, a serial killer tag team, and a strange, off-the-books black ops team using counterfeit money.
And in their personal lives, almost everyone had romantic entanglements, including not one, but two breakups for Nolan, an engagement for Lopez, and new love interests for Jackson, Lucy, and Tim.
But none of them was the relationship that fans obsessed over!
So let's dive in and investigate all of the highs and lows of The Rookie Season 2!

DC Universe’s Titans series is maddeningly uneven. Its second season, out now on disc for those unwilling to buy the service, is perhaps slightly better than its inaugural outing but it’s still a mess.
Let’s start with the fact that everyone behind the camera doesn’t understand Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), so they depict him as bitter and angry, lost and without a clear sense of self. He was never like that in the comics and this is jarring and not terribly well thought through. During the season he is haunted by the vision of Bruce Wayne (Ian Glen), who seems far less brooding than one would expect an aging Batman to be.
The final episode shot for season one is used to open season two as Dick, Donna Troy (Conor Leslie), Hank Hall (Alan Ritchson), Gar Logan (Ryan Potter), Kory Anders (Anna Diop), Jason Todd (Curran Walters...

If you're a fan of ABC's The Rookie, then there's a good chance you were also a fan of Castle, another procedural which also starred Nathan Fillion.
The sophomore drama series recently staged a Castle reunion, and the series will be doing so once again.
TV Line is reporting that Annie Wersching has been locked in to appear in an upcoming episode as Rosalind Dyer, a serial killer on death row who finds herself getting a little too close to Fillion's John Nolan.
If you watch Castle online, you will recall Wersching from that series as Kelly Nieman, a prison doctor/plastic surgeon who grew obsessed with Jerry Tyson.
Jerry carried out a string of heinous slayings throughout his turn on the series, and Kelly later became his accomplice and love interest.

The Rookie will play host to another, albeit more specialized, Castle reunion when Annie Wersching pops up on the ABC procedural.
On Castle, Wersching — now a star of Marvel’s Runaways — had a short arc as Kelly Nieman, a prison doc/plastic surgeon who became infatuated with inmate Jerry Tyson (aka the serial killer known as 3Xk) and went on to serve as his accomplice and lover.

It was a blast from the not so distant past on The Rookie Season 2 Episode 3 as two of Nathan Fillion's former costars from Castle made guest appearances.
As much as I enjoyed seeing both Seamus Dever and Jon Huertas on my screen, the show missed a brilliant opportunity.
Why were they given separate storylines?
Detectives Kevin Ryan and Javier Esposito had such great chemistry on Castle where they played partners for nine seasons.
The Rookie Season 2 Episode 2 Review: The Night General
These two deserved to be paired up once again whether it was as law enforcement officers or even better, as partners in crime.
Granted, they both did an excellent job in their respective roles but it could have been so much more entertaining if they had been working together.
That said, Seamus Dever played arrogant and sleazy better than I ever expected as the right hand to the city councilwoman.

Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital will be visited by the Power of Two this fall. As part of ABC’s just-announced “Cast From the Past Week,” former Charmed stars Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs will play sisters on the Oct. 10 episode of Grey’s Anatomy (8/7c), reuniting them with executive producers Krista Vernoff and Andy Reaser. And, honestly, is nostalgia not the most powerful magic of all?

This review is based off the season premiere.
Throughout my history of reviewing TV shows, I’ve had to base my critiques on samplings varying from one to five episodes before the time of premiere. As you could imagine, the maximum amount is preferred because not only is it just plain cool to see that much content before anyone else, but also due to the fact that it allows for someone such as me to formulate a more informed opinion regarding the TV show itself.
Like I said, I’m no stranger to viewing only one episode going into a new season, but doing so for Titans‘ sophomore year admittedly made me nervous at first. Those familiar with this series’ production are aware of how “Trigon” had originally been intended to serve as season 1’s finale, only to be saved for season 2. That said, you’re probably wondering if DC Universe’s gamble paid off.

Dick Grayson’s clash with an imaginary Batman and then puppet master Trigon himself has consequences for (almost) all Titans team members, as seen in the first photos from Season 2.
The Season 2 premiere, titled “Trigon” and hitting DC Universe on Friday, Sept. 6, was originally conceived as the freshman run’s 12th episode/finale. But as Ep Greg Walker told TVLine, “We thought it was such a good cliffhanger at the end of 11, and we wanted to go for an even bigger, better Season 2 opener… and our friends at DC bought it.”

DC Universe’s Titans tied up its freshman run on Friday with not its 12th episode of the season (as once planned), but No. 11.
In the dark-n-twisty hour, Trigon (played by Seamus Dever) lured Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) into a dreamscape where his idyllic suburban life in Los Angeles — with wife Dawn (!) and their family — was interrupted by Jason Todd’s warning that Bruce Wayne aka Batman has gone off the rails in Gotham, and means to kill the Joker. On the heels of us getting a bit of Batwoman this week, the new trailer for Titans offers up a first look at its Batman. And it is not “happy to see me” when the Caped Crusader reunites with onetime sidekick Dick Grayson.
In the intense, two-minute tailer for Titans’ Season 1 finale, hitting the digital subscription service on Friday, Dec. 21, Jason Todd shows up to warn predecessor Dick (Brenton Thwaites) that their shared mentor, Bruce Wayne, means to kill the Joker. And it you watch closely enough, it appears that Batman does in fact have the last laugh in that regard.

New York Comic-Con kicked off with an origin story longer than most: the struggle to get Titans onto the screen.
The risky superhero show, which debuts October 12 on streaming service DC Universe, has a long development back story. Producers Geoff Johns and Akiva Goldsman spent seven years trying to crack the material, a pitch-black-yet-rousing story of an Avengers-esque ensemble that includes a certain former Batman sidekick whose civilian name is Dick Grayson.
“You couldn’t do Titans without Robin,” Johns said during a panel after the first two episodes screened to strong response at Hammerstein Ballroom. “So there was a lot of behind-the-scenes work that went into that.” Previous outings, including a feature incarnation, were hamstrung by the rights to Batman being locked up — in this telling, the characters mix and mingle freely, as they have begun to do in the DC universe.
All of the maneuvering appears to have paid off.

Today is Batman Day, an annual celebration of the anniversary of the Dark Knight’s first appearance in Detective Comics #27, which mysteriously happened in May 1939.
Since there are no coincidences, the Batman Day celebration coincides with yesterday’s launch of DC Universe, a new streaming subscription service emerging from beta. The platform offers archived DC Comics, films, TV episodes and original programming. The initial slate includes digitally-remastered, high-definition episodes of the 1977 Wonder Woman series starring Lynda Carter, plus Batman: The Animated Series and a new season of the animated Young Justice.
One of the highlights of the new service is a live-action Titans show. Based on the comic of the same name, Titans will focus on Batman sidekick Dick Grayson, aka Robin, the leader of the Titans. He is joined by companions Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire.
