“Before I left home, I had already made up in my mind, if Reba McEntire turns her chair, I am going to say Reba,” reveals Asher HaVon, who won Season 25 of “The Voice” on Tuesday night. The 31-year-old from Selma, Alabama defeated Josh Sanders, Bryan Olesen, Nathan Chester and Karen Waldrup in the finale, securing Reba her first victory as a coach. Watch Asher’s video interview with Gold Derby above.
Asher says working with Reba was “an out of body experience.” He explains, “I don’t think I’ve ever received so much encouragement and so much love and so much wisdom about this industry in my life. After host Carson Daly announced Asher as the winner, Reba rushed the stage to join him.

The Voice’s John Legend called out his fellow coaches for what he felt was a “sadistic” movie during the show.
Legend stars on the show with the legendary Reba McEntire, hip-hop star Chance the Rapper, and country pop duo Dan + Shay.
With $100,000 and a Universal Music Group deal on the line for contestants, the coaches can also offer musicians deals, which could help them achieve further success.
That’s why The Voice coaches tend to utilize a part of the competition involving the “Steal” to take away another coach’s musician and add them to their team.
However, another component of the game is the Playoff Pass, which allows coaches to save musicians already on their team.
A recent episode of NBC’s show featured all of the above, and Legend yelled at his co-star over one particular move.

Monday kicked off Season 25’s Battles on The Voice, and they did not disappoint. On one hand, we got a few genuinely awesome performances. On the other, we got what might qualify as the first big shocks of the season via the eliminations of one contestant who could easily go by the stage name Mr. Personality and another who — and yes, I’m ready for the hate mail — is a more electrifying rock vocalist than early frontrunner Bryan Olesen. Read on, and we’ll discuss which singers advanced to the Knockouts and whether they really should have.

Bryan Olesen impressed the coaches on Monday’s (March 4) Blind Auditions episode of The Voice, but some viewers were up in arms over the fact the guitarist is “already famous.” As Olesen explained on the show, he used to be the lead guitarist for the Christian rock band Newsboys, who was Grammy-nominated and had more than 20 number-one hits. In addition, he was a founding member of the band Vota. The 49-year-old Lincoln, Nebraska resident took to the stage to perform a rendition of “Love Runs Out” by OneRepublic. Almost immediately, coaches John Legend, Reba McEntire, and Dan + Shay hit their buttons and turned around. Chance the Rapper was the only coach not to turn, but said he regretted the decision. “That was a performance I felt, without seeing anything. When I did turn around, the package was complete,” McEntire shared. “You were absolutely incredible.” “I want to be clear...
