- TriviaGreat effort and attention to detail was taken to replicate some of the real events, in example:
1. The clips at the very beginning of E1, of Alfonso Basterra Camporro, Rosario Porto Ortega and Asunta Yong Fang being interviewed about adoption, are an extremely accurate portrayal of the real interview. The exact same clothes were depicted for all three of them, and Asunta really was drinking an orange drink with a straw in the interview. The cutlery and crockery on the outdoor dining table is even exactly the same, down to the layout and the glass ashtray.
2. Asunta's bedroom at approximately 5:15 minutes in E1, is an almost exact replica of how the real 12-year-old girls room was found. Including the books on the floor as if she had been studying, the position of the cuddly dog toy, the doormat and the striped rug, the houses and cloud's wallpaper, the same pattern on the chair, and the green boxes under the desk.
3. Porto and Basterra really did take selfies with their daughters coffin. The white coffin, the cross, and the white flowers, seen at 41:40 minutes of E1, are all accurate details of the real wake.
Additionally, much of the clothing Porto and Basterra wear in the series are lifted from real photographs or film, as-well as the locations.

Very watchable, but please don't watch it with English dubbing.
Rosario and Alfonso report that their adopted Chinese daughter Asunta, 12, has vanished, a Police search begins, and her body is tragically found, her parents are suspected of conspiring in her death.
First off, I had no idea this was based on an actual case, it goes to some pretty dark and bleak places.
Let's be honest, this is a very, very watchable series, but please take my advice, watch it in its original, Spanish form, don't watch the English dubbed version, the voiceovers make it virtually unbearable, Rosario sounds as if she's in a constant state of surprise.
Once I switched it, it came to life, and I could truly appreciate the acting, especially the characterisation of Rosario, The Judge is such an interesting character, you'll wonder if he's right, or simply got an axe to grind, by episode 5, you'll have the answer.
Well paced and never dull, it doesn't lull at any point, one of those shows you'll want to binge watch over a night or two.
Episode five was the most surprising of all, I watched with my jaw open, it was the high point.
8/10.
